Cookbook author, writer, and food personality Alison Roman is grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons. In her latest interview with The New Consumer, she took a jibe at the careers of Chrissy Teigen and Marie Kondo. Roman courted controversy when she said that Teigen's career horrified her and that's something that she never aspires to do. Now the controversy has not got Hollywood hooked to Twitter but Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor too has condemned Roman's comment.

Expressing disappointment over Roman's harsh words, Chrissy took to Twitter and wrote in a series of tweet, "this is a huge bummer and hit me hard. I have made her recipes for years now, bought the cookbooks, supported her on social and praised her in interviews. I even signed on to executive produce the very show she talks about doing in this article. I started cravings because I wanted something for myself. I wanted something John didn't buy, I wanted something to do that calmed me, made me happy and made others happy, too. Cravings isn't a "machine" or "farmed content" - it's me and 2 other women." Read the thread below:

Supporting his wife, All Of Me singer John Legend wrote, "I love what you are building.  I love that it comes straight from your heart and your brilliant, creative mind. I'm so proud of you"

While Sonam Kapoor wrote, "When women take women down it’s the worst kind of betrayal. And those women are the worst. Chrissy Teigen is awesome. And anyone trying to make something of their own is awesome."

This morning, Alison took to Twitter to apologise to Chrissy. She wrote in her tweet, "Hi @chrissyteigen! I sent an email but also wanted to say here that I’m genuinely sorry I caused you pain with what I said. I shouldn’t have used you /your business (or Marie’s!) as an example to show what I wanted for my own career- it was flippant, careless and I’m so sorry." She further said, "Being a woman who takes down other women is absolutely not my thing and don’t think it’s yours, either (I obviously failed to effectively communicate that). I hope we can meet one day, I think we’d probably get along," she concluded.

In her last tweet, Teigen suggested Roman, they should unfollow each other on social media since everything is out there.
