Celebrity dancer and choreographer Sandip Soparrkar tests positive for COVID-19. Soparrkar informed he is in home quarantine. The choreographer tested positive for the virus on April 22, 2020, morning. On Monday, he revealed he tested positive for the virus after being sick for almost a week. The celebrity dancer shared he had symptoms like cold, cough and terrible body pain. He expressed how staying away from his kids is the most difficult task. Soparrkar mentioned he misses hugs and kisses from his kids but stays connected with them via video calls.
Speaking with Bombay Times, Sandip Soparrkar said, "I had constant fever since a week, coupled with cold, cough and terrible body pain. The report came in this morning. I rarely fall sick and so this is not a good feeling at all, especially staying away from my kids is the most difficult task. Though we chat on video calls through our respective room balconies but I miss their hugs and kisses.”
When questioned about his days in self isolation, Soparrkar mentioned he is feeling very weak, hence he has been sleeping at most times. He mentioned he continues to take his online session while down with fever. And, the celebrity dancer shared about reading a lot too. Sandip shared, “I have been feeling very weak so mostly been sleeping but I am one of those who will never cancel my class so I am still taking my online session with fever as dance keeps me positive n happy. I also have been reading a lot and watching the sun rise and sun set daily from my sea-facing penthouse: something that I was not able to do for long."
Meanwhile, when asked about his biggest takeaway from his recovering journey, the choreographer revealed it has been: “'I wonder how I got it?'(laughs!)." During the interview, Soparrkar also shared that he has been home since the lockdown was announced on April 1.
