Actor Sonu Sood has garnered a lot of praise for his stellar performances and action-packed scenes in films. The actor is known for his tough-guy roles and is also loved for them by his fans. Sood has managed to win hearts with his acting skills and has been currently hitting headlines for big-budget period drama Prithviraj. Now, Sonu Sood who has been making headlines for his next big-budget period drama Prithviraj has now joined the cast of South superstar Chiranjeevi’s next. Confirming the news about his upcoming project, the actor confirmed the news in an official statement.
Apart from being a part of the period drama Prithviraj, Sonu Sood has now joined the cast of South superstar Chiranjeevi’s next. The film is helmed by Koratala Siva and is tentatively titled Chiru 152 as it marks Chiranjeevi’s 152nd film. Been a part of several blockbusters down South, Sonu will now be seen playing one of the prime characters in the much-awaited next. Having a packed schedule and working round the clock, Sonu is also busy with two other South films.
Confirming the same, Sonu said in an official statement, “It makes me very proud to be associated with the project and sharing the screen space with Chiranjeevi Sir. The South Indian film industry has been very embracing of me and I hope with this film I am able to give them back the same amount of love through my work.”
Meanwhile, his next Bollywood outing Prithviraj is a historical drama that traces the life of King Prithviraj Chauhan. The film also stars Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar in important roles. He will also be seen in Tamil film Thamilarasan – an action drama directed by Babu Yogeswaran.
