His first foray into Chinese filmdom,the historical drama Xuanzang has been selected as China's official entry for the 89th Academy Awards.
And now we can get a dekko at his second outing, the film Kung-Fu Yoga.
In the Indo-Chinese film, Sonu Sood plays an Indian tycoon while Disha Patani is playing an archaeology professor, Ashmita, who teams up with Jack (Chan), a renowned professor of archaeology at the Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi'an. Together, they set out on a journey to find India's long-lost Magadha treasure in Tibet.

Directed by Hong Kong-based Stanley Tong, the action-adventure is a co-production of Taihe Entertainment and Shinework Media (China). The film is reportedly set for a release later this year.
