Arjun Kapoor is the son of filmmaker Boney Kapoor with his first wife Mona Kapoor. There’s no denying that Arjun Kapoor never shared a warm relationship with father Boney Kapoor after the filmmaker decided to tie the knot with Sridevi. In 1996, Sridevi and Boney had a simple temple wedding. Soon after, Boney Kapoor started a new life with late Sridevi and Arjun, Anshula and Mona started living on their own. In February last year, Sridevi passed away after which Arjun and Anshula became the strong pillars for Boney Kapoor and his daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Since then Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi, and Khushi became one family and are there for each other when needed.

Taking to Instagram, Arjun Kapoor shared a throwback picture with dad Boney Kapoor and also wished him ‘Belated Happy Birthday! Captioning the photo, the Panipat actor wrote, “So it’s children’s day today & I thought I must thank my parents for allowing me to have this amazing life growing up as a child...despite all their ups & downs I was always treated with love respect & care...they let me become my own person & be what I am today... also belated Happy birthday Dad. May ur love for matching tracksuits long continue... On Boney Kapoor’s birthday on November 11, Janhvi Kapoor had shared some unseen picture pictures from the family album. Sharing the bunch of photos, the Dhadak actress captioned the video as, “Happy Birthday Papa you always ask me where I get my energy from papa and I get it from you. Seeing you wake up and doing what you love with more passion every single day, seeing you fall but get up even stronger, seeing you broken but giving us and everyone else strength when they need it.”


In her caption, she further wrote, “You’re the best man I’ll ever know. You inspire me, encourage me, you’ve always been the best dad but now you’re my best friend. I love you. I’m going to make you so proud. You deserve all the happiness in the world and I hope and pray this year is full of just that in abundance for you.”
