Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel is an acid attack survivor.
Kangana manager and confidant that she is, even took to her social media site where she posted a series of tweets to reveal what she went through during the gruesome acid attack many years ago. In her tweets, she revealed how she went through 54 surgeries, complications in breastfeeding, lost an eye and how Kangana was almost beaten to death. Rangoli revealed every aspect of her the incident that she had to suffer many years ago. Today, when the Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey’s Chhapaak trailer was released which is also about an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, she remembered all those horrific memories that have affected her and her family.
Acid attack Survivor Rangoli Chandel was seen supporting and speaking highly for the trailer, for a change. She took to her Twitter handle and urges her followers to watch the film. Relating to the trailer, Rangoli wrote, “Wow!!! Everyone should see this film, amazing @meghnagulzar @TheLaxmiAgarwal @deepikapadukone.” In another tweet, she read, “Meghna and Deepika will earn a lot of tears from this film, what my family and I went through along with the prejudice we faced was worse than death... the story of an acid attack survivor need to reach this nation, praying that it works.”
