The Censor Board will now be housed in a new office at NFDC in Worli.

SpotboyE.com has it that an entire floor in the NFDC building will be allotted to the Censor Board, which is currently functioning from White House building in Walkeshwar.

Not so long ago, Censor Chief Pahlaj Nihalani had said: “There are plans to start a Tatkal section for certification of films on short notice."

Pahlaj also wants to bring in an online application system for certification, in order to ensure 'complete transparency'.

A source says, "The Tatkal system has begun. But the Censor Board office at  is very dilapidated; it needs a total revamp. We need more computers and furniture. We also need better ambience. It's good that we are shifting to NFDC."
