A lot of stars have come forward and openly protested against CAA and NRC. From Anurag Kashyap to Farhan Akhtar, all have expressed their displeasure. However, all the Khans have kept mum for long. A big debate ensued on social media as to why all the big stars are not talking about it. Now, finally, Saif Ali Khan has shared his thoughts. In a recent interview, while promoting his upcoming film Tanhaji, Saif shared his views on the protests going on in the country.
Talking about how there are a lot of issues that are alarming and concerning, Saif said that he'll be a part of the protest only when he is sure about what it is all about. He took a diplomatic route and quoted to PTI, "There are many things that give us a cause for concern, watching and wondering how where it will all end up." He further shared that everyone has the right to carry out a peaceful protest, however, he would want to do some thinking before associating himself with anything. He quoted, "I would like the protest to be associated with exactly what I am protesting against. There might be a possibility that I will end up representing a different kind of protest. So I am not sure yet. Until I am sure what I am protesting against and whether it is going to be taken that way, I need to think more. There is so much being written in the press, there are so many things that give us concern about what we are reading."
