Tarun directed Dostana (2008) starring John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan. Soon after the movie became a blockbuster, there were reports of a sequel being in the offing. However, after numerous rumours in the film industry announcing the launch of Dostana 2, Tarun still hasn't been able to get the film on floors. Finally after waiting for almost 8 years, he decided to leave that film and make something else.

The film is said
to be the beginning of a franchise based on high flying action and fast chasing
cars - maybe on the same lines of YRF's Dhoom.
Talking about the
casting, this will be the first time that Sushant and Jacqueline will be paired
opposite each other.
On the personal
front Sushant has wrapped up Raabta, which sees him starring opposite Kriti
Sanon. The film is set to hit theatres on June 9. Jacqueline has wrapped up Reloaded opposite
Sidharth Malhotra, which is set to hit theatres on August 25. The film is said to be a prequel of Hrithik
Roshan-Katrina Kaif starrer Bang Bang (2014). Jacqueline is currently shooting
for Judwaa 2 opposite Varun Dhawan and that is going to hit screens onSeptember
29.
So it definitely
seems like a year packed with films for both these stars.
