In a shocking turn of events, the fire has been reported in a building that houses Narcotics Control Bureau’s office investigating the Rhea Chakraborty drug case. According to reports, the Exchange building is located in the Ballard Estate area in Mumbai. For quite some time now, NCB has been investigating Rhea Chakraborty’s drug case. Rhea along with brother Showik, who are in jail may move to the High Court to seek bail as a special Mumbai court has rejected the same twice.
As per a report in India TV, the NCB office is said to be safe, while the other parts of the Exchange office caught the fire. No casualties have been reported. We recently reported that Rhea confessed to NCB that she procured drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput but never consumed it. It was only before her 55th question with NCB when she cracked down and confessed that she indeed consumed drugs. A recent Republic report stated that when NCB officer asked Rhea, “How good are you as an actress?” she replied saying, “I’m a very good actress.” However later, officers told her that this wasn’t the time for her to be acting. The sourced also informed the news channel that the officers told Rhea, “Well if you didn't consume, you are a peddler which is a more serious offence.”
Rhea has also named actresses Sara Ali Khan-Rakul Preet Singh and fashion designer Simone Khambatta. As per the report, NCB will soon send the summons to the actresses in the drug case related to Sushant Singh Rajput.
SSR’s former manager Shruti Modi and Rhea’s friend Jaya Saha appeared before NCB today.
