Brahmastra: Nagarjuna Joins Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor As They Resume Shooting For The Most-Anticipated Film

Today, Bollywood’s real-life couple resumed the shooting of their most-anticipated film Brahmastra. Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra is one of the most awaited films of Indian cinema. For the past 3 years, Brahmastra has been getting delayed. Earlier, the film was slated to release in 2020, but owing to the COVID, the shooting was delayed which eventually resulted in the delay of its release. While the final release date of the film is yet to be announced, leading actors Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Nagarjuna have resumed the shooting.

This afternoon, the Brahmastra trio – Ranbir, Alia and Nagarjuna – was snapped arriving on the film sets separately. While Ms. Bhatt was seen sporting a casual nude coloured top, Ranbir Kapoor opted for a black shirt paired with beige pants, white shoes and a cap. Nagarjuna made a dashing arrival on the sets as he picked a black shirt paired with denim, white mask and loafers.

Earlier it was being reported that the filmmaker will be shooting for the remaining portions of the movie, from February 18, 2021, on a set currently being erected at a studio in Kandivali, Mumbai.

A source close to the development revealed to Mid-day, “Ayan had almost completed filming the superhero drama, in keeping with the December 4 release date. While he utilised the lockdown to speed up the VFX work and editing, a small portion remains to be shot. The production design team has a week to build the set in the Kandivali studio before Ayan begins shooting on February 18. He has chalked out a week-long stint with the leads, post which it will be a wrap for the project.
