Boney Kapoor Fulfills Sridevi’s Dream To See Indian Actor Ajith Kumar In A Movie Produced By Her Husband

Sridevi’s critically-acclaimed film English Vinglish, directed by Gauri Shinde was a refreshing film that was remade in Tamil later. The Tamil version of the film had a cameo appearance by Kollywood superstar Ajith Kumar. During the shooting for the Tamil version, late actress Sridevi had expressed her desire to see actor Ajith Kumar in a Tamil film produced by her husband Boney Kapoor. Now, Boney Kapoor has finally fulfilled her wish with his upcoming film Nerkonda Paarvai.

The Tamil film Nerkonda Paarvai has been produced by Sridevi’s husband, Boney Kapoor and stars Ajith in the lead role. The film is all set to release this week on August 8 and the premiere show of the film debuted in Singapore on Tuesday. The film is directed by H. Vinoth and is also the official Kollywood remake of the hit Bollywood film Pink starring Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.  Boney Kapoor shared a sentimental tweet ahead of the release of the film. It reads, “I am truly blessed 9am IST today Premiere Show of @nerkondapaarvai will start in Singapore. I have managed to fullfil my wife Sridevi Kapoor’s dream. Nerkonda Paarvai will release in India on Thursday and also stars Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Tariang, Abhirami Venkatachalam and Vidya Balan. Nerkonda Paarvai also marks Bollywood actress Vidya Balan’s debut in the Tamil film industry and there is already a lot of hype around it.
