The Bombay High Court will be hearing Kick star Salman Khan's appeal against his conviction in the 2002 hit-and-run case on July 30.

The Supreme Court, in the meantime today, is in the process of hearing a plea filed by the mother of a deceased Mumbai police constable, Ravindra Patil, seeking the transfer of the infamous 2002 hit-and-run case from Mumbai to Delhi.

Not only that, the plea has also asked for the cancellation of the bail given to the actor who is riding high on the success of his first home production Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Salman was convicted by The City Civil and Sessions Court, Mumbai, on May 6, and sentenced to five years' imprisonment on various accounts, including 'culpable homicide not amounting to murder'. However, by the end of the day, he had been granted an interim bail and his bail plea was heard on May 8.

Salman was granted bail on the condition that he will not travel out of the country without intimating the police and the court and sharing the details of his travel plans.
