Irrfan Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Arjun Kapoor. What do you do if six actors are not interested in playing the poet-lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi?

Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. What do you do if three actresses don't want to play Ludhianvi's love interest Amrita Pritam?

And what do you do if you have only Amrita's companion Imroz in place - Fawaad Khan?

Abort the film, what else!

Ashi Dua has done just that.

SpotboyE.com learns from a source close to Ashi that her Sahir Ludhianvi biopic is not happening. "The film will not go on floors, at least in near future," says a close friend of Ashi.

Adds the friend, "The Sahir Luidhianvi biopic would have been quite expensive to implement on the big screen. Some film studios clearly told Ashi that they needed an A-list cast to make money on her idea. Ashi is now tired of chasing actors. She has decided that it would be better if she puts the Ludhianvi biopic away. It's a story that can always be told later."

Meanwhile, Ashi has zeroed down on another idea which she wants to put on celluloid.

Ashi remained unavailable for comment.
