The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which was investigating the drugs link in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, is also now probing deeper into the alleged drug nexus in Bollywood. Several names of Bollywood stars had allegedly surfaced, and actresses Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh were summoned by the NCB for questioning. Now, Republic has reported that several Bollywood A-listers visit Goa for ‘detox’ purposes. Read on.

According to Republic’s SIT, several Bollywood stars go to Goa for ‘detox’ and sources informed Republic that the celebs book villas for shooting or holiday purposes, but instead they actually visit for ‘detox’. The report states that the celebs do so, so that when they are tested for drugs, the report doesn’t show that they consumed drugs. The caretaker of one such ‘special villa’ told Republic that the celebrities visit through an agent so that it is safer, and the details of their visit aren’t public.

“They come with agents because they know it will be safe and there is more personal space available,” the caretaker told Republic.

Meanwhile, several reports about the Bollywood drug probe have been making their way on the Internet. A few days ago, it was being reported that three of Deepika Padukone’s co-stars were under the NCB scanner and that they have been summoned by the NCB. However, a member of NCB's team investigating the alleged drug nexus of Bollywood, said the reports are false. Times Of India quoted him saying, “Do you want me to comment on false stories some of the media is reporting?"
