Ra One that had Shah Rukh Khan play an intelligent robot was one of the most successful sci-fi films ever. SRK as G One fights with the evil Ra One played by Arjun Rampal. Ra One is the virtual character created by SRK's actual character Shekhar who is a gaming programmer. In the game, Ra One is more powerful than G One, an idea that sparked in SRK's son Prateek's head. As Ra One steps out of the virtual world with an aim to kill Lucifer's ID, which is actually SRK's son's ID, it leads to thrill and adventure. In between, Ra One kills Shekhar and the programmers are left with no option but to bring G One in the real world to beat Ra One. But there's something very funny that happens in Ra One.

Shekhar was given a burial in the film as per Christian rituals. He was a Hindu by religion from South India. In the film, there is a scene where Shekhar's body is in a wooden casket wearing a black suit. While this implies that he was given a burial funeral, later we see Shah Rukh Khan's wife Sonia played by Kareena Kapoor immersing his ashes in the water. She was seen dressed in a white dress with their son by her side and immersing the ashes in the river. Can this be termed as the biggest mistake in Bollywood films ever? Well, filmmakers are no Gods and bloopers are part and parcel of films, aren't they?

For long, Shah Rukh Khan's fans have been anticipating the sequel to Ra One and are still waiting for it. Ra One was one of the most ambitious projects of Shah Rukh Khan and it received quite an applause for its special effects.
