Bijay J Anand Calls Covid Vaccination 'One Of The Biggest Scams'; Adds Even Though He's Losing Work, He Won't Get Vaccinated

In a recent interview, Bijay J Anand said that he would not get vaccinated. The actor called Covid vaccine a 'political thing' and added he won't put any chemical inside his body.

Coronavirus has ravaged the entire world, and the vaccination drive in different countries has helped curb the spread to a large extent. There's however a certain section that does not believe in getting vaccinated. Actor Bijay J Anand is one of them. He, in a recent interview, has called vaccination a 'political thing' and 'one of the biggest scams'. The Shershaah actor also mentioned that even though he is losing work, he would not get vaccinated.

Bijay revealed that he lost two films which were to be shot in London, including a web series. "I'm supposed to be getting an award in Dubai but I can't go there. Professionally, I've seen it all. Even though I'm losing work, I won't get myself vaccinated," he told Hindustan Times. When asked the reason behind it, he said, "For me, my body is a temple, and I'm not putting chemicals inside my body. I don't want the acting. I'm not taking the jobs, I've refused all of those."

The actor also went on to reveal that his wife, too, has not yet taken the Covid vaccine. He further revealed that his 14-year-old daughter who is all set to leave for London is disappointed that her parents can't join her. "She's not thrilled about the fact that both of us can't go with her. But we've taken a stand. I feel that the vaccine is a political thing and probably one of the biggest scams in the history of mankind. So, this is my stand and I'm not going to play into that so that I can travel and make money," he added.

Bijay, who is also a yoga teacher, revealed that his students from all around the world are complaining about him not travelling. The Broken But Beautiful 3 actor also said, "Covid isn't going to remain in our lives forever."
