Kedarnath director Abhishek Kapoor recently announced his next film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. Last month, the makers announced its title and revealed it is named Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. Later, SpotboyE exclusively told you that Ayushmann Khurrana replaced late Sushant Singh Rajput in this film. It was being said that after completing the shoot of Kedarnath, SSR and Gattu Kapoor had begun discussing their next film, which is now headlined by the Vicky Donor star. But seems like there's a new addition to the film star cast.
As per latest online reports, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui makers have roped in Bigg Boss 8 winner Gautam Gulati to play a parallel lead in the film. A source close to the development revealed to Pinkvilla, “Gautam Gulati will be playing the third wheel in their relationship. The makers were looking for a good looking actor who can perform as well. When they approached Gautam for the role, he liked it and agreed to be part of the film. The details of his role has been kept under wraps. He is expected to begin shoot for the film soon.”
Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is based on the story of a married couple’s plight when husband finds that his wife is a transgender.
