A few days ago, actor Bhumi Pednekar announced that she tested negative for Coronavirus but she is super positive about life. As she has now recovered from the virus, she started doing her bit by asking everyone to donate Plasma (a medical procedure that uses the blood of a recovered patient to create antibodies on infected individuals.) With a spike in the cases, there’s a huge demand for the same in the worst-hit states of the country. To help everyone, Bhumi decided to spread the word about plasma donation. She recently took to her Instagram to urge the people of Delhi to come forward and make a Plasma donation for those who are in desperate need.
She also shared details of how one can get themselves registered if they are eligible to contribute it. Bhumi shared a link in her account’s bio and asked them to fill a form where the officials will contact them and they can make donations. Sharing the video, she wrote, “DILLI-WALON apna dil dikhao #PlasmaWarrior #covid19 #waragainstcovid” Earlier, she shared an IGTV on the same and asked the Plasma Warriors to donate their Plasma and to save a life. That’s not it, after she was diagnosed negative, she penned a long note on her feed, alerting her fans that she has created a list of several resources to enable access to medical supply and asked them to help her with the same.
Bhumi’s note read, “As we move into the second wave of COVID-19 across India, I have created a highlight where I will be identifying resources to enable facilitation & access to medical supplies, plasma request and donors as the case may be. While I am trying my level best to verify the numbers/contacts which are shared with me on a rampant & daily basis, there might be some numbers which may turn out to be fake. In the event that you find any information here not helpful/fake, please do let me know & I will immediately remove the same. This initiative is my small contribution to the huge battle that lies ahead of us. Please be patient & don’t lose hope! We’re in this together.”
Bhumi also shared another note asking her fans to get in touch with her when there is a genuine need. ALSO READ: Days After Being In Quarantine, Bhumi Pednekar Tests Negative For Coronavirus
