A new poster from Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat was dropped online this morning. Salman Khan is seen as a senior citizen in this one. He sports white hair and white beard and holds an intense expression in his salt-and-pepper look. We also see Jackie Shroff in the poster, who plays Salman’s father in the film.
Bharat which spans over six decades will showcase his character aging from a child to a 60-year-old man. He will be sporting five different looks for the film. Sharing his look on social media, Salman writes, “Jitne safed baal mere sar aur dhaadi mein hain, usse kahin zyada rangeen meri zindagi rahi hain! #Bharat@Bharat_TheFilm @aliabbaszafar @atulreellife @itsBhushanKumar #KatrinaKaif #Tabu @bindasbhidu @DishPatani @WhoSunilGrover @nikhilnamit @ReelLifeProdn @SKFilmsOfficial @TSeries”
Bharat is an official remake of the Korean movie, An Ode To My Father. The film depicts Indian history through the common man’s eyes. Apart from Salman Khan, Bharat also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Tabu, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover.
The movie is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and after the success of Tiger Zinda Hai, it brings back the terrific trio of Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif-Ali Abbas Zafar. Bharat will hit the big screens during Eid this year.
Earlier, talking about the film, producer Atul Agnihotri had said, "It's the journey of a country and also a person, both of whom go by the name of Bharat. That film is just the starting point for ours but since it was an inspiration, we wanted in all fairness to officially own it and acquired the remake rights before going ahead with Bharat."
