This afternoon, the makers of Batla House dropped the trailer of the film online. While Twitterati can’t stop praising the John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur starrer, the trailer is receiving heaps of praises from Bollywood celebs too. Right from Varun Dhawan to Karan Johar, they have taken to social media and shared their trailer on their respective Twitter handles.
Batla House is a real story based on Operation Batla House that was executed in 2008 in New Delhi. IT had garnered a lot of criticism from the politicians and activists back then calling it a fake encounter. Though all charges against the officers were dropped later on. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, and penned by Ritesh Shah and
produced by Bhushan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Sandeep Leyzell,
the film is scheduled to release this Independence Day on August 15, 2019.
Batla House will clash with Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal and
Prabhas-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho at the box-office.
