Batla House trailer was recently released online and while Twitterati can’t stop praising the John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur starrer, the trailer is receiving heaps of praises from Bollywood celebs too. Recently, the makers also released the first most-anticipated song, O Saki O Saki featuring Nora Fatehi and Rula Diya track that perfectly captures the real-life struggles of a cop’s life where he tries to strike a harmonious balance between his personal and professional life and actor John Abraham has nailed it with his act in this number. 

However, today, a few mins ago, John shared a new poster of Batla House that gives a new meaning to encounter, plus, the film is also about an encounter that never got a voice. Sharing the new poster on his Instagram handle, "Encounter ka matlab hai Surgical Strike, matlab keeping India Safe... Fark sirf itna hai ki humare borders shahar ke andar hote hai... @mrunalofficial2016 #RaviKishan"


Batla House, an upcoming action thriller, directed by Nikkhil Advani, stars John Abraham in the lead along with Mrunal Thakur. Batla House is inspired by the true events that happened in September 2008 during an encounter between the Delhi Police and suspected terrorists. John Abraham will portray the role inspired by Sanjeev Kumar Yadav who spearheaded the Batla House encounter.

Produced by T-Series, Emmay Entertainment & JA Entertainment in association with Bake My Cake Films, the film will release on August 15, 2019, battling with Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Vidya Balan's Mission Mangal at the box-office.
