In the video, Ranveer Singh is seen saying, “Dekho! Dekho yahan kya ho raha hai. Meri life ka sabse bada gaana shoot ho raha hai. Dekho! Itne log. Itna taam-jhaam ki sar chakra jaaye. Basically, Boss is not held back this time. Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty for the first time baby. Yeah!” Then the director joins the video and tells Ranveer, “Bahut kharcha kar raha hu tere pe.”

Then the actor continues saying, “But sir, the best part about the whole song is... (an over-excited choreographer Ganesh Acharya enters the frame singing...) Aala re aala Simmba aala...”

Yesterday, we reported that Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan are gearing up to recreate a ‘90s song for their film. The two will dance to a contemporary version of Ladka Aankh Maare, originally featuring Arshad Warsi and Simran, from Tere Mere Sapne (1996). The number was originally sung by Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy.

A source close to Mumbai Mirror had revealed, “The song has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi who has been working on the new version since the past few months. It has new beats to appeal to the Gen X but the fun element is intact, which was Rohit’s brief.”
