BAFTA 2021: Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor Given Tribute During The Ceremony's 'In Memoriam' Segment

The 74th British Academy Film Awards is one of the most-talked-about shows right now. The Late Indian actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan were given tribute at the 74th BAFTA held on Sunday night at Royal Albert Hall, London. BAFTA used the dialogue of Irrfan Khan from the movie 'Life of Pi' to pay tribute to the actor. The same has left many fans emotional.

As many know, Irrfan was not only a big name in Bollywood, but he also successfully carved a niche for himself in the West. He has worked in many Hollywood films including Life of Pi, Inferno and The Amazing Spider-Man. Rishi Kapoor, on the other hand, was one of the versatile actors of Bollywood. Irrfan and Rishi Kapoor passed away last year.

Apart from Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor, other stars who were honoured at the ceremony included George Segal, Sean Connery, Yaphet Kotto, Barbara Windsor, Olivia de Havilland, Alan Parker, Max Von Sydow, Christopher Plummer, Kirk Douglas and Chadwich Boseman. BAFTA also paid tribute to Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away recently at the age off 99.
