The re-run of Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan during the lockdown has been proven beneficial as the show is currently on the top spot in the TRP charts. Ramayan is currently viewed across the country during the weekends and is enjoyed by all age groups. As the show is on-air currently, reports of Ayushmann Khurrana’s mother-in-law Anita Kashyap being a part of the show hit headlines. Now, star wife, Tahira Kashyap reacts to the reports of her mother being a part of show Ramayan.
In a recent episode on Ramayan, a scene featured demon Trijata, in her dark outfits, offering support to Sita when she felt alone and abandoned in Lanka. Soon later, a report in Newsbaba claimed that actor Ayushmann Khurrana has a close connection with the iconic show. Much to everyone’s surprise, the report stated that Ayushmann’s mother-in-law and Tahira Kashyap’s mother Anita Kashyap essayed the role of Trijata in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan.
Finally, reacting to the reports, Tahira Kashyap issued a statement revealing that her mother Anita Kashyap was never a part of the show. On Twitter, Tahira Kashyap’s statement read, “There's no truth to these reports of my mother Mrs Anita Kashyap starring in the Ramayan show. All these reports are false. She was an educationist and has no connection with this show, whatsoever.” In the statement, the star wife clearly mentioned her mother Anita Kashyap was an educationalist and has no connection with the show Ramayan.
