One of the most sought-after actresses of the Hindi film industry during the 2000s, Ayesha Takia recently made the headlines as she left the internet shocked at her physical transformation. Reportedly, having gone under the knife, her post-plastic surgery look makes her unrecognisable. A few days ago she took to her official social media handle to drop a few posts in a beautiful saree, however, the netizens mercilessly trolled her which led to her restricting her comment section.
Decked in a gorgeous blue and golden saree, Ayesha complemented her ensemble with heavy jewellary, makeup and perfectly styled, open hair. She shared the selfie with purple and yellow hearts emoji. A day before that she had also shared a video in the same ensemble, with the caption, “Salam e ishq.” Well, he look didn’t sit right with the netizens who questioned and trolled her. The mockery went to a point where she had to disable the comment section of her post. One comment read, “Apke lips pr madhumakhi ne kaat liya h kya.” Another wrote, “Zaroorat kya thi? Kya thi zaroorat?” Other one commented, “Egyptian mummy lg rhii hai.” One commented, “Ye kya ? Ye Konsa jeev hai ? Humne to Tarzan me dekha kuch or tha yaha aya kuch or hai.” Another said, “Kya aap wahi ho Tarzan the wonder wali cute Ayesha takia? This is not the first time, the 37-year-old had to face the wrath of the netizens who continually accused her of getting surgeries done on her face. Even then, she had given the naysayers a befitting reply. Through an interview, she asserted that it was her personal choice and no one forced her to undergo procedures. She added, “We can't judge anybody... They are entitled to do whatever they want to do with themselves. I might not want to do it, it is a personal choice.”
For the unversed, having begun her career as a model, Ayesha Takia went on to star in movies like Taarzan: The Wonder Car, Wanted, Salaam-E-Ishq, Dil Maange More, Dor, Paathshaala, Fool N Final, 8x10 Tasveer, and many others. She went on to tie the knot with restauranteur Farhan Azmi and welcomed their son Mikail.
