‘Brahmastra: Part One Shiva’ starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor is already running houseful in the cinema halls. The fantasy drama has become the highest-grossing film of the year. However, the film has received massive criticism owing to its weak writing and lame dialogue. Ayan Mukerji, the director of the magnum opus has promised the second part of the film with better dialogue after heavy trolling.

While speaking to Sony Music India, Ayan Mukerji told that making Brahmastra part one was a challenge to make in India, and making the second installment is an even bigger challenge which will take around three years in making. He even mentioned that audience might take around six months to watch the first part. Mukerji was quoted saying, “But making Brahmastra 1 in India; it is a fully 'Made In India' product, it was very challenging. So now to make Part 2 even happen in 2-3 years is also a very very big challenge. Making it at the same quality with better dialogues (laughs) and more juicy storytelling, it is a very very big challenge.”

Earlier in an interview with Indian Express, Ayan opened up on the weak dialogues, especially the track involving Isha and Shiva played by Alia and Ranbir. He mentioned that the film is a love story in a fantasy world. He thought a love story will give a soul to the film and love is the greatest source of energy.

Meanwhile, the film has over 4500 VFX shots which makes it a potential record holder for the most visual effects in any film worldwide. This film is one of its kind based on astraverse that has been made true to scale through the lens of VFX and Technology. The captain of the ship Ayan had recently announced that the second installment will be in theatres in December 2025.
