Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s elder son Aryan Khan has been making the headlines for the past few months. From launching his own liquor brand D'yavol and high end streetwear brand D'yavol X, to creating excitement regarding his first directorial project, he has left the audiences intrigued. Well, after announcing that he has finished scripting his web-series back in December 2022, it is now being reported that he has titled the upcoming project ‘Stardom.’
As per the reports by India Times, the 25-year-old is all set to make his debut as a screenwriter and director with Stardom. Said to be a thriller six-episode web-series, the project will be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. Talking about the details of the film, it will be set in the film industry itself and will be streamed on a leading OTT platform. The show is currently under production and is scheduled to be released in 2023. According to the source, quoted by the portal, the title of the series is a universal term which every “cine lover resonates with.” It is being said that the filmmaker plans on revealing details about the show in a few months. The source added, “The series is set against the backdrop of the film industry and what better title than Stardom.” It was earlier reported that Aryan has been receiving help from Lior Raz of popular Israeli television programme Fauda fame for his debut project. For the unversed, Aryan is Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s eldest son. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinematic Arts, Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California. His younger sister, Suhana Khan too is all set to make her debut in Bollywood as an actress with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’ alongside Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor.
