Ayushmann Khurrana’s recent release Article 15 has met with good critical acclaim and is being talked-about. The lead actor is amassing praises for his earnest performance in the film. However, the movie has been banned in Roorkee, Uttarakhand owing to law and order concern.
The civil administration in Roorkee has stalled the film’s screening, a day after it was banned in Kanpur, reveal reports. Now, the director Anubhav Sinha has taken to Twitter and written that he will take legal action and challenge it in court. He wrote, "Seeking legal action. Will challenge it in the court."
The film is based on the theme of caste discrimination and revolves around the brutal gang-rape and murder of two girls belonging to a lower caste in Uttar Pradesh. The story-line has impressed the audience and critics alike.
