Article 15 is set to hit the screens this week. However, the trailer of the film has caused a lot of ruckus and Karni Sena also threatened to stall the release of the movie. The director Anubhav Sinha faced a lot of backlash and also received death threats. Now, in response, he took to Twitter today to pen an open letter to all those offended by the film’s trailer.

In the letter, the director has apologized to anyone whose sentiments have been hurt by the trailer. The director also appealed the people to not judge the entire movie based solely on its trailer. He also claimed that his film hasn’t showcased any community in a bad light.
Anubhav Sinha’s directorial venture will see Ayushmann Khurrana along with Isha Talwar M Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. Article 15 will hit the theatres on June 28. The trailer of the film has garnered a lot of appreciation from the audience for its powerful and gut-wrenching content. The film talks about heinous crimes such as honour killing, dowry, murder which is common in rural India.
