The hullabaloo around everyone's overpriced electricity bill this month has been everywhere on social media. Various celebrities like Soha Ali Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Raj Kundra and Huma Qureshi among others raised concerns over their inflated electricity bills. Now, next in the line is actor Arshad Warsi, who claimed to get an electricity bill of more than rupees one lakh. His response to the same was both hilarious and tragic. Well, it appears that Arshad is ready to sell his painting to collect the fund and if that's not enough, the Golmaal actor might as well sell his kidney. LOL!
Taking to his Twitter, Arshad revealed how a whopping Rs 1.03 lakhs were debited from his account. In another tweet, he joked about selling his paintings and kidney for the same. “People please buy my paintings, I need to pay my Adani electric bill, kidneys am keeping for the next bill,” wrote the actor. The actor's tweeted left all his followers into splits. Someone wrote, "But sir to buy your painting I have to sell my kidney," while another gave it a Dhamaal reference, "Is it the same painting of the horse eating the grass or just a blank canvas?" LOL!
However, Arshad soon got in touch with the officials and sorted out the confusion. Soon after, he tweeted, "And yes there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Quick response from @Adani_Elec_Mum problem solved. All you have to do is contact them.... thank you."

Bringing an end to everyone's confusion, Rohit Roy had revealed how the bills are inflated because only 50% of the bill was charged in the last two months. "Guys because last 2 months they charged us only 50% of the bill ! So this month is a cumulative amount."
