Finally, filmmakers have begun to announce their upcoming projects with the country opening up amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, slowly and steadily. Filmmaker Mohit Suri who is all geared up for the sequel of his crime thriller, Ek Villain released in the year 2014, has roped in actor Arjun Kapoor to play a grey role in the film. As per reports in ETimes, Arjun has given a nod to the project which is titled as Do Villain. Are Arjun's fans excited to watch him in grey shades?
Also starring in the film are Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria and John Abraham, the movie will probably see John and Arjun locking horns on the screen for the first-ever time. Mohit had announced the movie in the month of March on the social networking platform, his social media announcement read, “Let the fight begin !! Bad v/s badder !!”. Before Arjun Kapoor signed on the dotted lines the buzz around the movie had begun, the Panipat actor was originally considered for it, but later the role went to Aditya Roy Kapur.
However, the Aashiqui 2 actor left the project due to some creative differences and Arjun was back on board. Seems like destiny had this film planned for Arjun itself.
2014 crime thriller Ek Villain saw Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in lead pair with Riteish Deshmukh playing the antagonist.
