Actor Arjun Kapoor has sure come a long way, especially in terms of fitness. The actor who made his debut with YRF’s Ishaqzaade was earlier battling with weight issues. After shedding oodles of weight, Arjun forayed into the movies. Over the years, people started criticising him for his weight but unfazed about it, Arjun embraced this chapter of his life and has absolutely no regrets about his physique. Speaking about the same, Kapoor just dropped a then-and-now picture of himself and backed it with a caption that is a mixture of both motivation and quirk.
“Pehle main bohot mota bohot pareshan tha,” quipped Arjun, as he shared a throwback photo of himself from the time when he was overweight and a toned photo of himself in recent times. He then continued saying he cherishes every bit of his life. “No no this is not one of those posts Just putting it out there that I love every chapter of my life. Those days & even now, I have always been myself at every step of the way. I cherish every bit. I’m a work in progress like anyone & everyone else.” Arjun also stated he understands the meaning of ‘work in progress’ now and will work towards ‘bettering’ himself every day.
Arjun added, “My mother told me every stage of your life is a journey & you will always be a constant work in progress. I understand the meaning of that now more than ever & I’m loving that I’m working towards bettering myself… every damn day!!!”
Just recently, in an interview with a news portal, Arjun revealed he wasn’t just an overweight kid but had a health condition. “I was just not a fat kid, it was a health issue. It hasn't been easy. My underlying health condition has always made it a struggle for me to constantly stay a certain size,” he said.
