Well, here we are talking about Arjun Kapoor who recently graced at Zee Tv's Pro Music Countdown where he revealed an incident where he faced rejection before entering Bollywood and he was rejected by Ishaqzaade's producer Aditya Chopra.
In the upcoming episode of the show featuring Panipat stars Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, viewers will find out how the duo found their way into Bollywood and rose to the stardom they enjoy today. Arjun who belongs to the famous Kapoor family, experienced failure at his first attempt to make his debut in Bollywood but that did not stop him from taking the backstage role as an assistant director. Arjun revealed, “The first time Aditya Chopra saw my pictures, he rejected me.” However, Aditya Chopra gave him his debut movie Ishaqzaade. Arjun added, “It was only after he saw me working relentlessly behind the scenes, giving each candid moment my best shot as an artist and working hard as a team member while I was a part of his crew when he decided to make me the male protagonist for Ishaqzaade. Well, talking about being candid, Arjun Kapoor has never shied away from revealing his struggle with bodyweight from a very young age. Talking about his physical transformation, Arjun said, “I was extremely self-conscious at the gym because I thought the people there would make fun of me. I realized though that being lazy and eating unhealthily was not an option anymore. I had to get fit. To do this, I gave up on both sugar and rice which I adored.” Now, that’s a story of inspiration and an attitude of never giving up!
