Arjun Kapoor was in total awe of his younger sister Anshula Kapoor as she walked the ramp on Thursday for fashion week. The actor was seen sitting in the first row and he heaped praises over his sister with thunderous applause. Anshula was seen wearing a shimmering corset top and a slit skirt on the ramp at the show which also featured Sonakshi Sinha and Antara Motiwala Marwah.
A video of Anshula making her way down the ramp in a pale green outfit for the fashion week has gone viral on the internet. The later part of the video features Arjun, who is dressed in a green jacket and dark pants, clapping as Anshula passes him by. Interestingly, Arjun Kapoor is elder than his sister Anshula Kapoor and they are known to have an age gap of five years. Yet the brother-sister duo hold a strong bond with each other.
Netizens were left in awe of the video and a few even showered the duo with adorable comments. Fans noted the close bond between the siblings in the comments section as one Instagram used said, "That's so sweet." Another added, "And so nice to see Arjun cheering for her!" Anshula has undergone an epic weight loss journey over the last year, and she has been sharing constant updates about the same via social media. Her brother Arjun and her other siblings, sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor often drop in messages of support for her in the comments section.
On her birthday last year, Arjun Kapoor shared a throwback picture of them on Instagram and wrote a heartfelt message for her with the caption, "My co-rider for life! We are in this together. Anshula and Arjun's father is producer Boney Kapoor. Their mother was his first wife, Mona Shourie Kapoor, who died in 2012. Janhvi and Khushi are children from Boney's second marriage to the late actor Sridevi. Anshula is said to be dating screenwriter Rohan Thakkar though they have never confirmed their relationship publicly. In December, they had vacationed together in Thailand.
