Sanjay Dutt is one of the powerhouse actors that we have in Bollywood and there is no denying that. The Khal Nayak star has many exciting lineups for the coming years. Among them are the Kannada film KFG Chapter 2, sports drama Toolsidas Junior, Abhishek Dudhaiya’s directorial Bhuj: The Pride of India and period action drama Shamshera. And, it looks like Sanju baba has one more addition to his kitty. As per the latest report in Peepingmoon.com, Sanjay Dutt will be collaborating with filmmaker Sanjay Gupta for the sequel of their 2006 action-thriller, Zinda.
Yes, you read that right! Sanjay Gupta and Agneepath star are teaming up yet again after 14 years for Zinda 2. The two had earlier worked together in eight films including. Kaante, Zinda, and Shootout At Lokhandwala, Aatish: Feel the Fire among others. Peepingmoon quoted an industry source close to the development as saying, “Sanjay Gupta has been planning to work with Sanju for quite a while now as their last collaboration was Shootout At Lokhandwala back in 2007. After mulling over several ideas, they've zeroed in on Zinda 2 that they will also jointly produce under their banners White Feature Films and Sanjay Dutt Productions respectively. It is said that the upcoming sequel was earlier supposed to go on floors in September 2021 but has now been postponed to the year-end.
Meanwhile, Zinda, which was the remake of the South Korean film Oldboy, also featured John Abraham, Lara Dutta and Celina Jaitly in the lead roles
