Anushka Sharma is a
cricket fan and why not? After all hubby Virat Kohli eats, drinks and breathes
cricket. Yesterday, as South African batsman, AB de Villiers announced his
retirement from International cricket; Twitter went all out to express their
emotions. Among the cricketer’s million fans, Anushka Sharma too took to
Twitter, to write a heartfelt message for AB de Villiers, who was a part of
Virat Kohli’s IPL team, Royal Challengers Bangalore. She wrote, “In
life, what we do to positively impact the lives of others has greater meaning
than what we accomplish for ourselves. You’ve managed to do both beautifully
& always with such grace & integrity. Wishing you & Danielle a
blessed, happy life ahead@ABdeVilliers17 @DanielleDV27”

Well, we can’t agree more
to Anushka. De Villiers, who is no less than a superstar in the world of
Cricket, boasts an International career comprising of 114 Tests, 228 ODIs
and 78 Twenty20 and a scored board of over 20,014 runs. The 34-year-old is
South Africa's fourth most successful Test batsman with 8765 runs.
Talking about Virat and
Anuhska, a few minutes back, we told you how the cricketer too has joined
the cause#HumFitToIndiaFit- an initiative started by Union Minister, Rathore to
encourage fitness in the country. Kohli posted a workout video in which he is
seen sharing his favourite exercise and appealing India to stay fit. Virat
passed on the challenge to wife Anushka Sharma, PM Narendra Modi and MS
Dhoni.
Here’s what he wrote, “I have accepted the #FitnessChallenge by @ra_THORe sir.
Now I would like to challenge my wife@AnushkaSharma ,
our PM @narendramodi ji
and @msdhoni Bhai
for the same. #HumFitTohIndiaFit #ComeOutAndPlay”
