Anushka Sharma Campaigns For Animals' Safety This Diwali

With Diwali round the corner, Anushka Sharma has actively started a campaign on Twitter called #PAWsitive. The actress, who is always gushing over her dog Dude, first tweeted a photo of her pet on October 18 with a heartfelt message.



After the message received positive feedback from her followers on the social networking site, she initiated a campaign to protect animals from the after-effects of Diwali celebrations.



She flagged off the hashtag campaign with her second tweet:



Since then, Anushka has been spreading awareness about the effects firecrackers can have on birds, stray dogs and stray cats apart from pets who are well-looked after at home.
