With Prime Minister Narendra Modi declaring more 21 days of lockdown, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli recently took to their Instagram account to share that we need to be safe and don’t go out for the next 21 days. As the couple is self-quarantining, they even treated us with a goofy rather cute picture of the two by letting us know that ‘self - isolation is helping them love each other in all ways and forms’ and obviously made our hearts aflutter. After treating us with the dose of love, the Zero actress decided to treat us with the dose of sweet, literally. No, it is not their mushy photo but a literal cake.
As Sharma and Kohli are locked down, the celebration is very much on as today is Anushka Sharma’s father’s birthday. On this occasion, Anushka decided to bake a cake for him instead of getting in one from outside which she thinks is ‘a Bewakoof level idea.’ She took to her Instagram account and shared a series of videos on her Insta stories, from the baking process to the sound of support and hunger from my bestie/husband Virat Kohli and the end result of the cake which didn’t rise much, Anushka has shown us everything via her stories.
With the process of the cake, she captioned it as, “Today is my dad's 59th birthday.” In the second story, she continued, “So I decided to bake him a cake,” giving a reason by saying, “Cuz getting one from somewhere is a Bewakoof level idea.” In the next story, where we can see cake didn’t fluff much as it supposed to be, plus, giving us an important baking tip that baking powder and soda are different. She wrote, “That's the sound of support and hunger from my bestie/husband. Also, I know the cake didn't rise much cuz I thought baking powder and soda have the same result. They don't.”
Finally giving us the look of it, “Here it is!” Later she even shared an adorable picture of father-daughter, to which she backed it with, “My handsome papa loved the cake. Over and out from here now!”
Last year, she had shared a picture of his father and wrote, “From taking silly selfies like these to letting me make ponytails in your hair (while you still had them ... You are the coolest dad a girl can have and are THE best inspiration. Thank you for teaching me to always do the right thing no matter how hard it is or what the consequences may be... Love you Papa #MyHeroForever”
