After being signed for Karan Johar's ambitious venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Anushka Sharma has something more to smile about. If all goes well, the Band Baaja Baaraat actress will team up with Raanjhanaa director, Aanand L Rai.
No, he is not going to direct her in any film, not as of now at least- but intends joining hands with her as a co-producer in her second venture with Manorama Six Feet Under director Navdeep Singh.
When contacted, Rai confirmed the development. “Navdeep has narrated the script to me. I have liked it. I would like to to get into a co-production with Anushka on this. It’s great to work with creative minds," he told SpotboyE.com
Anushka, who became one of the youngest actresses to turn producer when she and her brother Karnesh Sharma signed on Navdeep to helm their debut project NH 10 in November 2013, plans to shoot this film extensively abroad.
Interestingly, Sudip Sharma who has scripted NH 10, her action thriller about a road trip gone wrong, is scripting this one too.
