A few days ago, the Income Tax Department carried out raids at the properties of filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, and Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu. Apart from this, it was reported that searches were also carried out at Vikas Bahl, Madhu Mantena’s properties. According to Hindustan Times, the raids were in connection with the film production company Phantom Films, which was established by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Madhu Mantena, Vikas Bahl in 2011, but was later dissolved in 2018. This morning, Taapsee Pannu broke her silence over the IT raids, and now Anurag Kashyap has also made his first post following the IT raids.
Anurag Kashyap took to his Instagram account to share a picture with Taapsee Pannu from the sets of his upcoming film DoBaaraa. Taapsee and Anurag were all smiles for the picture, and they can be seen striking a pose for the camera. In his caption, he took a dig at the haters, and informed fans that they are resuming shooting for DoBaaaraa. “And we restart #DoBaaraa .. with all our love to all the haters," he wrote.
Meanwhile, Taapsee Pannu had tweeted in the morning about the IT raids, and she wrote, "3 days of intense search of 3 things primarily 1. The keys of the “alleged” bungalow that I apparently own in Paris. Because summer holidays are around the corner. 2. The “alleged” receipt worth 5 crores to frame n keep for future pitching coz I’ve been refused that money before 3. My memory of 2013 raid that happened with me according to our honourable finance minister P.S- “not so sasti” anymore.”
