Starring Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Apara Mehta and Gaurav Khanna, Anupamaa is one of the most-watched shows on Star Plus. The show has always topped the BARC ratings ever since it was released in 2020. While the high-voltage drama in Rajan Shahi’s Anupamaa has kept the audiences invested, the upcoming twist in the story has left them devastated. The past few episodes have centered around Samar’s death and how the families are trying to come to terms with it. It was also seen how Anupamaa and Vanraj decide to get Sonu punished for killing their son.
Today’s episode starts with Anuj bringing food to Anu, who refuses it and continues to cry while holding Samar’s photo frame. Anuj tells her how he can’t see her in pain and that he would rather die than distance himself from her. Anu expresses her grief and states how she can’t even cry for her son as she promised him that she would bring everyone out of the trauma of his death. She goes on to tell Anuj that even though she knows that he isn’t responsible for Samar’s death, she sees her son wrapped in a white sheet when she hears his voice. Anuj completely breaks down after Anu goes away from there. Malti Devi reaches the Kapadia mansion just in time and consoles him. He lays his head on her lap and cries his heart out. Back at the Shah house, a distraught Kavya returns home and bursts out crying. The family members rush towards her and start asking what happened. She tells them how the Rathore’s goons threatened her. Not only did they ask her to tell Vanraj to take back the case, but even threatened her baby and made her fall from the auto. As Toshu and Leela condemn the goons, Kavya expresses how they must fight for justice as Anupamaa has always stood by them in their time of need. Vanraaj promises to go to the police station the next morning to give a detailed statement of evidence to the inspector. On the other hand, at the Shah house, Malti Devi and Anupamaa have a heart-to-heart talk. The former tries to make Anu understand how Anuj is not responsible for Samar’s death. However, Anupamaa goes on to recall how she had left everything when Maya died so that she could be beside Choti Anu the entire time. While she could return back to Choti, she can’t get her Samar back. Anu walks away from there. Further in the episode, it is seen how Kinjal tells Toshu about her fears of losing family members because of Rathore’s violent goons. This makes Toshu change his mind about recording his statement at the police station. In the upcoming episode, it is seen that even Pakhi and Adhik deny recording their statements, which leaves Anu and Vanraaj shocked. They then decide to fight for justice alone.
