It's been two months since Sushant Singh Rajput's death and yet there is no closure for his family. Fans, family and friends are demanding a CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Now, even celebs are coming forward and demanding the same. From Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and others, stars have called for justice for Sushant and demanded a CBI probe. Veteran actor Anupam Kher too took to his Twitter to demand the same. However, the question arises, why so later?
Anupam Kher in his interview with Times Now spoke about it and shared that many questioned him as to why he tweeted so late demanding justice for Sushant Singh Rajput. On this the actor shared that one needs to gauge the situation before commenting, and that the stars are scared to speak out. He was quoted saying, "In my case, I had already spoken about it. And also you gauge things na, just because you are watching it on Television, you can't come to a conclusion. There is some kind of intelligence you have to use. First ten fifteen days we all thought it was actually a case of suicide. In fact, in my first video I posted, I felt that it was surprising that he was feeling low and things like that. It takes a little time, you are also scared, mein iski side lunga toh I hope I don't become a victim of all this thing. You are a public figure, I understand but when it comes to truth, sometimes or the other, you have to speak up."
He also shared that Sushant "is a symbol of somebody's dream getting crushed halfway through and that is the injustice of this whole story"
Taking to Twitter, Anupam Kher had called for a CBI probe and posted, "As a fellow actor and as a member of the film industry or just as an ordinary citizen of this country I feel it is important that #SushantSinghRajput’s death gets a proper closure. We owe that much to his family, friends & fans. So #CBIforSSR is an important campaign."
