Anupam Kher’s latest release ‘The Kashmir Files' has reaffirmed the fact that Kher is one of the most talented and versatile actors in Bollywood. Taking to his Instagram handle, Anupam shared a video wherein two priests can be seen doing puja and showering rose petals on the actor’s head. They also recited shlokas as the actor stands with a yellow dupatta wrapped around his shoulders and holding a book in his hand. Alongside the clip, the actor wrote, “For the last few days or say after the release of #TheKashmirFiles, every third and fourth day pandits or priests come to my building, do puja and leave without asking for anything. On Thursday, the Special 26 actor has shared his last photo with his late father Pushkar Nath and said he dedicates ‘The Kashmir Files’ to him. In his heartfelt post, Anupam also mentioned that the “simplest soul on earth” his father longed to go to Kashmir but he couldn’t.
The Kashmir Files also starred Darshan Kumaar, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi in pivotal roles. The film narrated a heart-wrenching story of the exodus and killings of Kashmiri Pandits in the Jammu and Kashmir valley in 1990. The movie was released on 11 March and is inching closer to earn Rs. 250 crore mark at the box office.
