The 62nd National awards were announced yesterday and Haider director Vishal Bhardwaj was on a winning spree.
Winning 5 awards for his critically acclaimed film Haider.
Celebrating the success of the film at a press conference Vishal Bhardwaj said “The Kashmiri Pandit Genocide was a terrible tragedy. I did not add that part to the film because I felt it would do injustice to the people; we should make another movie on it. I would also like to dedicate the five awards to them.”
