Queen actress Kangana Ranaut has been vocal about seeking justice for actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and went on to pick some big names from the industry for sidelining the actor. The actress’ recent comparison of Mumbai to PoK and then Taliban, caused a massive stir on the social networking platform. After this comment of the actress, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut in a recent interview, called her haramkhor. Now, this comment of the politician did not go down well with the actors from the film fraternity such as Dia Mirza, Anubhav Sinha.
Dia Mirza, Anubhav Sinha extended their support to Kangana. Dia Mirza, in her tweet, stated that in the last few months, a lot of name calling and personal abuses towards women have been observed. She then urged for this to stop somewhere and asked everyone to stand together. Her tweet read, “The last few months have seen an unprecedented rise in name calling and personal abuse. It is something that undermines every effort made to build a safe/equal society for women. Unfortunately many women are also perpetuating this culture. This must stop. Let’s stand together!”
Anubhav Sinha too tweeted this name calling being totally distasteful and not done at all. He tweeted, “No. You can’t call a woman Haramkhor. Not done. Not cool.”
