During the Coronavirus lockdown, Salman Khan managed to keep himself busy with work. The actor was working from home, just like each and every fan of his. Salman released some music videos and also started his own YouTube channel, during his stay at his Panvel farmhouse. Amidst the pandemic, as Salman has resumed work like other celebrities, the actor has reportedly kick-started shooting for actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar’s upcoming film Antim. As the actor is teaming up for the film with brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, a report stated that the filming started from December 6.
According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, the film went on the floors after Diwali, on November 16 in Pune. The report stated that the makers shot an extensive chase sequence on the busy streets in Pune, with Aayush and the supporting cast. As per the report, the cast and crew then moved to ND Studios in Karjat, and to Mumbai’s Western Suburb, Versova. The report stated that after a 20-day schedule with Aayush, Salman recently joined the team. The actor stated shooting in Filmcity from December 6.
Earlier, there were reports that Salman Khan’s film Antim will be shot at ND Studios in Karjat, and the actor will be travelling to the sets from his Panvel farmhouse. Speaking about Khan’s role in the gangster drama, the actor plays the role of a cop. Salman will be portraying the role of a Sikh cop, who is on a mission to end gang-wars and land mafia in the area under his jurisdiction. A source in the report revealed that after wrapping up the shooting of Radhe, Salman took some time off to grow a beard as he sported a clean shaved look in his earlier film. As Salman will be wearing a turban for the first time in his 30-year-long career, the source added, “There is high security on the sets to ensure that his look does not get leaked. Salman wants to take his fans by surprise.”
Meanwhile, as per the report, in this schedule, Salman and Aayush will be filming many confrontation scenes. The source revealed that the team is going to be shooting non-stop through December and the team is expected to complete the film by mid-January. As per the report, Salman will be taking his annual birthday break in the last week of 2020. According to the report, as Khan is also making a cameo appearance in the film Pathan, he has allotted 15 days for the shoot and will start shooting for Tiger 3 in February.
