Sushant Sing Rajput's sudden demise on June 14th, 2020 left everyone in shock. Not just his family, industry friends and fans, his former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande too was left broken with the news of SSR's death. The duo was in a 6-year long live-in relationship before calling it quits in 2016-2017. Both Ankita and Sushant met on the sets of Zee TV's hit show Pavitra Rishta and from there on they formed a strong bond.
Though the former couple went their separate paths after 6 years, they never spoke ill about each other and always maintained a dignified silence. Even after Sushant died by suicide in his Bandra flat, Ankita Lokhande stood by his family and openly gave interviews, remembering Rajput fondly. Now recently the actress opened her social media for her fans where they could ask her to post unseen pics. One of her fans asked her about her favourite memory with Sushant.
Ankita immediately posted a 2016 picture which sees to be a screenshot of the time when she was on a video call with Sushant. Sushant was away shooting for Dhoni: The Untold Story, while Ankita was back home. Sushant's innocent smile will make you miss him all the more.
Recently, Ankita also paid a heartfelt tribute to Sushant at Zee Rishte Awards. The Pavitra Rishta team got together to remember his one last time. Sushant's family, on the other hand, had filed a case of abetment of suicide against Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Though there has been no conclusion on the case yet, CBI says it is still investigating all aspects.
