celebrities getting upset at a public event is quite a common sight. The
recently concluded Lakme Fahion Week 2018 was a witness to one such
instance too. Esha Deol and Hema Malini walked at the renowned fashion
week for designer, Sanjukta Dutta. Dressed beautiful sarees and donning a typical Assamese look, Esha and Hema stunned at the ramp
but unfortunately the media interaction didn’t go too well for the ladies. At
the event, the organizers had planned a press meet for photo ops. It was here
that something happened which made Esha extremely furious and she walked out of
the press conference, asking mother Hema to accompany her.
It so happened
that while Hema and Esha were posing for shutterbugs, the senior actress
responded to a journalist’s question and then gave the mike to daughter Esha,
who was about to answer but just then the presenter at the conference
interrupted and said the conference is only to take pictures and post-show
questions will be taken later. She also said that the questions should be
directed only to the designer at that time.
Esha, who was
visibly very uncomfortable with the interruption, handed over the mike to the
presenter and walked off, saying ‘Let her speak’. After walking a distance, she
asked mother, Hema to come along (watch the video above). Well, the video says
it all of how insulted Esha and Hema felt with the presenter interrupting while
they were talking. Sadly, the show ended on a sour note for the mother-daughter
duo.
