Angrezi Medium Teaser: Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan FANBOY Over Irrfan Khan, Say They Are 'Waiting'

Irrfan Khan is one of the prolific actors we have not only in Bollywood but also in Hollywood. His contribution to the film industry is simply beyond words but when the actor was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour, he had left his fans in shock. He had been in London for the treatment and in September 2019, Irrfan returned to Mumbai after undergoing a successful surgery post his shoot for Angrezi Medium in London. After his treatment, Irrfan Khan released the first glimpses of his upcoming film, Angrezi Medium.

While sharing the teaser on his Twitter handle, he wrote, “As we embark on the journey to release #AngreziMedium, here’s a small note for you all!” As the teaser won a lot of applause, Bollywood celebs like Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Yami Gautam extended their warm messages for the star and also mentioned how they are eagerly waiting for the film to release. Hrithik tweeted, “This is so heartwarming. Irfan, my love and prayers are with you. U are amazing. And this one looks like a very very special film. Waiting for it. And like you said, waiting for you.” While Varun Dhawan’s tweet read, “This is so beautiful. This is a film made with so much passion all the best to the team and #Irfan sir and we are waiting for u.” Shahid Kapoor simply wrote that he is waiting for the film while Yami Gautam too became a bit emotional and wished him a speedy recovery.

Talking about the film, the makers released the first poster of the Angrezi medium yesterday where we saw Pataakha girl Radhika Madan hugging Irrfan. Radhika is seen wearing a school uniform and carrying a school bag while Irrfan is seen wearing a British army uniform. 

The movie is directed by Homi Adajania and also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Ranvir Shorey, Kiku Sharda and Deepak Dobriyal in the key roles. The movie is slated to release on March 20, 2020.
